Welcome to Karl’s Wunder Wash! For decades, Nashville drivers have trusted our family of car washes to keep their vehicles looking their best. What began as Brentwood Auto Wash, has always been guided by the same ownership and commitment to exceptional service. Today, we’re bringing our locations together under one unified name: Karl’s Wunder Wash. While the name is changing, the independent ownership, quality and customer-focused experience you know and trust remain the same. We’re also excited to expand with a third location in West Nashville in 2027, making it even more convenient to enjoy a Karl’s Wunder Wash experience across Nashville. Karl Peters opened the doors to White Bridge Auto Wash in 1987, after moving from Detroit and bringing a bit of Motor City with him.
family owned & operated ever since
The wash is still run as a true mom-and-pop today, with Karl’s stepson Paul Budslick buying the business in 2013, with his wife Allison running Duke’s General Store inside. Paul continues the tradition of excellent customer service and attention-to-detail, retaining WBAW's long-term and well-seasoned employees, frequently recognized as "Nashville's Best Car Wash/Auto Detailer" by the Nashville Scene.

To bring all of Paul’s car washes under one brand, Karl’s Wunder Wash was introduced in 2026, encompassing the West Nashville, Brentwood and South Nashville locations.
